How do I place an order?

You can place the order directly from our website. We accept various payment methods. If you have difficulty placing the order, please contact our customer service team at: care@therarespot.com. Our team will assist you with your order. 

I placed a wrong order, can I amend it?

If you placed a wrong order, whether it is the wrong product or wrong discount code applied, you can contact our customer service team here. We can amend the order for you if it has not been shipped. Please note that we are unable to amend the orders or refund when your order has been shipped. 

Can I change my delivery address?

If you would like to update your delivery address, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to update it for you. However, if your order has already been dispatched, we will need to check with our courier to see if it is possible, delivery address changes after the item has been dispatched is not guaranteed to be successful.

How to cancel orders?

We get it - sometimes plans change. Here’s how cancellations work at Rare Spot: 

Before We Buy or Ship 

Just contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible at care@therarespot.com, and we’ll do our best to stop the process in time. If the item hasn’t been purchased yet, there will be no charge. 

After the Item Is Purchased  

If the item has already been purchased but has not yet arrived at our warehouse, we may be able to help you contact the seller to request a cancellation or return. Success depends on the seller’s policy, and restocking or return fees may apply. Refunds (if applicable) will be issued minus any unrecoverable costs. 

After Warehouse Arrival or Shipment 

Once your item has arrived at our warehouse, or has been processed for international shipping: 

  • Cancellations are no longer guaranteed 
  • You may still request a return (if eligible) through the 5-Day Return/Exchange Guarantee 
  • Logistics fees and service charges are non-refundable 

What is Parcel Inspection?

When we receive your parcel from sellers, we will conduct the parcel inspection before shipping the products to you to ensure the products have no visible damages and can be shipped internationally.  

Parcel Acceptance Standards 

If your parcel arrives with serious external damage or doesn’t meet our packaging standards, we will not accept it. Instead, we’ll notify you and may return it to the sender. 

Inspection & Stocking 

Once a parcel passes our acceptance check, we will: 

  • Open and inspect it for restricted items 
  • Weigh the parcel 
  • Securely store it in our warehouse in China 
Non-Compliant Items for Air Shipping 
  • If any product inside cannot be shipped by air (e.g., restricted materials or dangerous goods), we’ll mark your order and notify you with options for returning or alternative shipping. 
Tracking Delays 

If you haven’t received updates from us 3–5 business days after domestic delivery, please reach out to our customer support to check the status. 

Product Inspection & Verification (Part of The RARE Pass) 

By using the RARE Pass, you’re authorising The Rare Spot to inspect your products for: 

  • Quantity 
  • Colour 
  • Size 
  • Basic visual condition 
After inspection

We discard the original shipping box (unless necessary) and repackage the item securely in Rare Spot’s packaging before storing it. 

Please note: 

  • We do not inspect for minor issues like slight colour variations, subjective user experience, or fine details. 
  • We do not open or test electronics, digital items, or specialised accessories. 
  • For sealed collectibles (e.g., figures), we check external condition only without breaking original seals. 

How long does it take to deliver?

We strive to deliver your order within 10–14 working days. However, in rare cases, unforeseen circumstances—such as seller-side delays, damaged items, or stock unavailability—may affect this timeline.

If any issues arise, we’ll promptly notify you via email with updates on your order status.

How is The RARE SPOT Pass fee calculated?

The fee is based on the product category and the storage timeframe, as we need time to consolidate shipments from different sellers. The pass fee typically ranges from £8.74 to £23.32.

For larger orders, the system may display a flat fee of £100 if the total quantity exceeds a certain limit. If you see a £100 fee or are placing a bulk order, please contact us through our Bulk Order Enquiry Form. Our team will assist you and provide a customised RARE SPOT Pass fee tailored to your order.
